Wii U to sell for $300…Nintendo losing profit

  When the PS3 and 360 were finally available for purchase, many fans, myself included, were pissed off at the outrageous $500 and $600 price tags.  Years later, I read an article describing the justification for such high cost.  One; to make back as much money as soon as possible and 2; to cater towards consumers with fatter wallets.  Basically the type of people who like to be the first to have expensive things, even if they won’t use them.  Think of those idiots that feel compelled to post “First!” on every new article.  I mean, if this website had one of those guys, then I could genuinely be upset, and maybe ban him. That doesn’t seem to be the case with Nintendo, as they’re set to distribute the Wii U at a $300 price tag.  If you remember, the Wii sold for the same price when Microsoft and Sony were selling their lower end models at around $400.  As nice as that seems, Nintendo is reporting they’ll be selling the Wii U at a loss, while seemingly trying to make it up with the sales of software titles and separately sold hardware.  The Wii U will be sold with...
